A NOTE FROM SAMANTHA:
Hi Football Fans! My name is Samantha Ann, and I am a rookie on the 2015-2016 Gotham City Cheerleaders!! I am so excited to embark on this incredible journey and spread my love for the Giants! Having grown up dancing and cheerleading, being on a professional team exceeds my wildest dreams. I started dancing at the age of four, and studied ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, lyrical & contemporary at 5678 Dance studio in Totowa, New Jersey. I danced recreationally, competitively and have also been a cheerleader since the age of seven. I cheered for my home town’s football team throughout elementary, middle and high school and have competed in cheerleading competitions throughout middle and high school. I was also very involved in theater during middle and high school, doing the school plays and choreographing dance numbers. Giving back to the community is very important to me, therefore I always made an effort to assist dance classes growing up and coach younger cheerleaders once I was in high school. Performing has always been my passion and I am grateful that my parents have always supported me and guided me in the right directions. Currently, I am a student at Pace University studying Arts and Entertainment management. I also teach hip hop at a dance studio in Fairfield, New Jersey. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my friends and family. Nothing ignites a fire in me like dancing there for I feel extremely grateful and enthusiastic to be part of such a prestigious organization. Sports entertainment is extremely important to me. It is our opportunity as women to take part in one of the country’s most beloved sports.. FOOTBALL! As a pro cheerleader, I plan on inspiring others and putting forth excellence. I cannot wait to WERK extremely hard this season and root for BIG BLUE!!!
“The victory is not the win. The victory is the fire you went through to get there.”
