A NOTE FROM EMILY:
My name is Emily and I am honored to start my first year as a Gotham City Cheerleader. I am from Connecticut and still reside there today. My entire life has been a balance between my drive for academics and passion for dance. I started dancing when I was three years old and dove in more seriously when I turned twelve having joined my studio’s nationally competing dance team. From sixth grade though my senior year of high school I competed and studied jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, hip hop, ballet, pointe and contemporary. After graduating from my all girls prep school Lauralton Hall I went on to attending Saint Joseph’s University where I received an academic scholarship and had earned a spot on the school’s D1 dance team. I danced for one year at my University and then took on other great opportunities including academic internships and studying abroad in Rome. Come senior year I had lined up a couple job offers but in the midst of choosing which to pursue, I kept being asked what would be my dream profession and it was then I decided to turn down my offers and chase after my dream of performing. In a matter of months I graduated Saint Joseph’s with a major in Communications and minor in Psychology and earned the title of a Gotham City Cheerleader. When I am not dancing, you can find me working out at the gym, shopping at Whole Foods or listening to country music. I am so grateful to be living my dream and am so proud to be performing for the greatest fans of the NFL. Can’t wait to see you all at MetLife this season!
